Ides of March

Gee, so MUCH has happened since October. It is now mid-March and we are looking at the beginning of Spring already! This past fall, Robin joined the Little League team and did great! Nobody could believe how fast a runner he was and his hitting and catching skills improved alot during the 8 week season. He even won a running trophy. Then, Our Little Miss Lily had her 1st birthday, complete with a cupcake theme party. Then we had Thanksgiving and Christmas, which were both awesome. Sometime shortly after, Lily crawled, then walked, and started Montessori. Somewhere in there, Grandma and Grandpa Cone got a new doggy, who we think is super-cute...Gizmo!

One of Robin's dreams came true the day he got a Playstation 2. He enjoys the quad game, the snowboarding game and the amusement park game. Legos are still a popular standby...he is still perfecting the battle spaceship design.


Robin is doing so well in school and enjoying his lessons. He is reading for fun now. He got his own library card and discovered the Naruto books, a series of anime japanese comic novels. I totally don't get the ninja appeal, but then, I'm not a 10 year old boy. Whatever gets him reading. Today he's on book 42.


What else...oh, we have a new pet-Bullseye the budgie. He likes Vance. We had a visit or 2 from Grandpa Jim and a couple of snow days (the last one was followed by a few days of 80 degree weather) off of school. Yep, lots of excitement the past few months and more to come with the warm weather on its way!
